The Essence of Grand Touring

Ever since cars were created, they were used to enlarge the horizon, explore countries and cross continents which led to great road races through the world, such as the famous Monte Carlo rally or the Liège-Sofia-Liège. Until the early 60s, the road system was so undeveloped that crossing Europe in a car was a real achievement. Created to travel faster and farther, GT cars were the kings of the road.

These races have progressively disappeared with the development of the motor vehicle traffic and the improvement of the road system. However, GT cars are more than ever performing and comfortable dream machines, real invitations to travel for the passionate..., unfortunately mostly for short trips only.
Considering these elements and willing to make use of our experience in sportscar racing and events, we have decided to propose a specific event to the owners of GT cars, a superb trip through Europe, but also a sporting and human challenge.

In some countries, sports and prestige cars are heavily denigrated. This is why we give the opportunity to the passionate and faithful supporters of this lifestyle and to the manufacturers, to show that GT cars are above all tremendous machines to travel in the best safety and comfort conditions. Thanks to the technology of the modern GT cars, it is also a unique chance to demonstrate that they are the safest vehicles while respecting the environment.

A great adventure, a real sporting challenge, an endurance event and an exciting journey through Europe!

This new event is dedicated to strictly series GT cars. The route will be entirely held on open asphalt roads through Europe.

The competitors will have to face long stages on demanding roads where vigilance and respect of the countries crossed will be essential. The reliability, the endurance and the performance of the cars will be particularly highlighted.

This original competition will take the owners of the Grand Touring cars to a real sporting challenge bringing them back to the roots of GT road races. This road Marathon is also a unique opportunity for the participants to relive the incomparable atmosphere of the great road races held between 1950 and 1980.
